Basketball Recap: Charlotte Elite Academy Comes Up Short

Charlotte Elite Academy lost against Winston Salem Christian National back in November of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Charlotte Elite Academy Soldiers were beaten by the Winston Salem Christian National Lions 70-27. While losing is never fun, the Soldiers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 244th, while the Lions are ranked 21st).

Despite the loss, Charlotte Elite Academy still got an impressive performance from Antoine Boone, who posted six points.

Charlotte Elite Academy is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. As for Winston Salem Christian National, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their 24th straight at home dating back to last season.

Charlotte Elite Academy will head out to take on Elevation Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Winston Salem Christian National, they will be home for the holidays to greet Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
