St. John is ranked highly in their home state and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Bishop O'Connell. The St. John's Cadets lost 3-0 to the Bishop O'Connell Knights. Prendergast is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in the last 26 games she's played. Hannah Kotb was another key player, getting 12 digs.

St. John's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 23-5. As for Bishop O'Connell, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 24-4-2.
