Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Comes Up Short

Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 69-43 to the Pottsboro Cardinals. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-56 back in January.

Blue Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Pottsboro, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7.

Blue Ridge will head out to face off against Gunter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pottsboro, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pottsboro Cardinals challenge the Leonard Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pottsboro knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Leonard likes a good challenge.
