The Winnsboro Raiders put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over Mineola. Fans of Winnsboro have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Winnsboro's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-8 Rains and 1-7 Pewitt (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 29.2% over those games). As for Mineola, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
Winnsboro will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonham at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
