Marsh Valley waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Preston Indians an 18-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-5 two weeks ago.

Marsh Valley pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.8 runs over those games. As for Preston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Marsh Valley will head out to take on Snake River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Preston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Century at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Diamondbacks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.65 runs per game on average), something the Indians will no doubt try to take advantage of.
