Soccer Game Preview: Scottsboro vs. North Jackson

The Scottsboro Wildcats will square off against the North Jackson Chiefs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Last Thursday, Scottsboro came up short against Lincoln and fell 4-2. While losing is never fun, Scottsboro can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Lincoln are ranked 43rd).

Meanwhile, North Jackson can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game last Friday. They put the hurt on New Hope with a sharp 6-3 victory. With North Jackson ahead 4-1 at the half, the game was all but over already.

North Jackson's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Scottsboro, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-4 record this season.
