Brush entered their tilt with Bayard on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bayard Tigers 14-2.

Gracie Martinez was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played dating back to last season. Sidney Miller was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-1.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Brush kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in September of 2023.

Brush's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6. As for Bayard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season.

Brush will venture away from home to take on Platte Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brush will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last. As for Bayard, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 win vs. Wray/Yuma on the 7th.
