Volleyball Recap: Howell North Takes a Loss

Howell North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Howell North took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-23.

Audrey Lashbrook had a dynamite game For Fort Zumwalt West., getting 26 digs and two aces. Lashbrook is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 18 games she's played.

Howell North's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Fort Zumwalt West, they pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road.

As of now, neither Howell North nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
