Football Recap: Lewisburg Patriots vs. Horn Lake Eagles

Lewisburg extended their losing streak to seven on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-8. They lost 40-17 to the Horn Lake Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi football rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Eagles are ranked 19th).

Horn Lake's leading receiver Jakevious Brooks was Edwards Jr's top target yet again, picking up 93 receiving yards and one TD.

Lewisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horn Lake, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-28 win against Madison Central on the 14th.
