North County hadn't done well against Valle Catholic recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Raiders walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Warriors. This was payback for the Raiders, who suffered a 6-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Kendrick Simon, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Zak Meador, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two RBI.

The win made it two in a row for North County and bumps their season record up to 21-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Valle Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-9.
