It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Clinton had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the North Pitt Panthers as they made off with a 4-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Clinton, who have now won 20 contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit North Pitt with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Chris Zelaya, Nelson Guerrero, James Sinclair, and Emilson Marcia.

Clinton's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those nine matchups. As for North Pitt, with the loss, they broke their eight-match winning streak and moved their record to 20-3-2.

Looking ahead, Clinton will face off against Southwestern Randolph on Tuesday. Clinton will need to watch out since Southwestern Randolph have now posted at least four goals in their last three matches. North Pitt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
