Basketball Game Preview: NorthPoint Christian Academy NightHawks vs. Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors

Gabe Spann continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9-for-18 en route to 27 points in addition to eight assists and five boards. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 21 points. Another player making a difference was Kamon Toney, who shot 58% from the field to rack up 16 points.

NorthPoint Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They are 3-1 when they hit their own glass that hard.

Meanwhile, Metrolina Christian Academy entered their tilt with Westminster Catawba Christian on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 50-45 W against the Indians. While the Warriors didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

NorthPoint Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
