Softball Preview: Perry Hall Gators vs. Kenwood Bluebirds        
        
		
            Perry Hall has gone 9-1 against Kenwood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Monday. The Gators will be playing at home against the Bluebirds  at 4:00  p.m. Kenwood took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Perry Hall, who comes in off a win.
While Perry Hall's  win against Carver A&T wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Gators had just enough and edged out the Wildcats  7-6 on Thursday. The Gators haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.

 Savannah Carl made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  struck out eight batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   two  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Madison Carl was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run was  her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Addison Dunlap, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run.
 Perry Hall was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .393. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Kenwood lost  14-4 to Hereford on Tuesday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Bluebirds in their meetings with the Bulls: they've now lost four in a row.
  Peyton Regulski made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored  no  runs while  getting on base  in all five of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zoey Lam, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 The  win  got Perry Hall back to even at 4-4. As for Kenwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
 Perry Hall beat Kenwood 8-3  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024. Do  the Gators have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluebirds turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
