The Menlo-Atherton Bears are taking a road trip to square off against the Los Gatos Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Menlo-Atherton not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since November 15, 2024 (when they won 35-7). They breezed past Palo Alto to the tune of 41-14. Menlo-Atherton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evaimalo Ama, who rushed for 49 yards and two TDs. Menlo-Atherton didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Gonzalez and Spencer Ama. Ama also made four total tackles, which is notable because Menlo-Atherton is 2-1 when he posts at least four total tackles, but 1-4 otherwise.
