Asheville has gone a perfect 10-0 against Erwin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Asheville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.5 goals per game this season.

Asheville will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Enka two weeks ago. The Cougars put the hurt on the Jets with a sharp 5-1 victory. Peyton Case was a massive factor in the win as she booted in four goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Erwin's offense. They came up short against Enka last Wednesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Erwin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 395th, while Enka are ranked 127th).

Erwin has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-11-1 record this season. As for Asheville, their win bumped their record up to 9-3-1.

Asheville took their victory against Erwin in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
