Softball Recap: Colonial Comes Up Short

Colonial fell victim to Dr. Phillips and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-12 back in February.

Colonial has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Dr. Phillips, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9.

Colonial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dr. Phillips, they will face off against Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Titans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
