Volleyball Recap: Whitman-Hanson Regional's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

Whitman-Hanson Regional needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight matches and they got it from Molly Geddis. The Panthers came out on top against the Plymouth North Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Geddis, who had 15 digs and nine aces. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 24-26, 25-16, 25-13.

Whitman-Hanson Regional picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 4-10. As for Plymouth North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Whitman-Hanson Regional will square off against rival Hingham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Plymouth North is set to take on their familiar foe Silver Lake Regional at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
