Basketball Recap: Lake Region Takes a Loss

Lake Region lost against Thetford Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lake Region Rangers fell 52-42 to the Thetford Academy Panthers. The Rangers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lake Region's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Thetford Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Region will face off against Peoples Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Peoples Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Lake Region surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thetford Academy, they will take on Spaulding at 2:03 p.m. on Friday. Thetford Academy is facing Spaulding at the right time seeing as Spaulding is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
