Softball Recap: Woodstock Academy Takes a Loss

Woodstock Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 17-0 to the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats. The Centaurs have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Woodstock Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-5. As for Norwich Free Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Woodstock Academy will take on St. Bernard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will face off against Griswold at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
