Basketball Recap: Miami East Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Miami East, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Greenon Knights with a sharp 59-33 victory on Tuesday. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Knights are ranked 750th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miami East's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Greenon, they dropped their record down to 5-13 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Miami East has already played their next match (against Bethel), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Greenon has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Southeastern Local.
