Basketball Recap: Mcdonald Piles Up the Points Against Mckinley

McDonald won the last time they faced McKinley and things went their way on Tuesday too. The McDonald Blue Devils blew past the McKinley Trojans, posting a 66-28 victory. That looming 66-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Blue Devils yet this season.

McDonald's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Larson, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 16 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joey Cappuzzello, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

McDonald wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-47 victory against Western Reserve on the 19th. As for McKinley, they will host Springfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
