Manchester and Peru are an even 4-4 against one another since April of 2015, but likely not for long. The Manchester Squires will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Peru Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Manchester is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7 runs per game this season.
Manchester is headed into the matchup fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Fort Wayne Wayne with a sharp 20-6 win on Thursday.
Hadley West was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Izzy Renz, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Peru had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against the Zebras by a score of 6-3.
