Basketball Recap: Iowa's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Iowa can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 39-31 win over the St. Martinville Tigers.

Despite the loss, St. Martinville still got an impressive performance from Makharee Narcisse, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Frelix, who put up four points along with six boards and three steals.

Iowa now has a winning record of 13-12. As for St. Martinville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-13.

Iowa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-50 loss against Westlake on the 13th. St. Martinville has also already played their next contest, a 60-51 victory against Abbeville on the 14th.
