Livingston has no trouble against West Fork

Recap: Livingston Lions vs. West Fork Gators

The Livingston Lions posted their biggest win since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They blew past West Fork 74-50. Livingston pushed the score to 60-30 by the end of the third, a deficit West Fork cut but never quite recovered from.

Livingston found their leader in underclassman Ziekus Garner, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Garner hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Jayden Randolph, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

The win makes it two in a row for Livingston and bumps their season record up to 9-9. As for West Fork, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-22.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Livingston will take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. West Fork will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Splendora at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
