Baseball Game Preview: King Jaguars vs. Juarez Eagles

The King Jaguars will square off against the Juarez Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Seven must be King's lucky number: they beat Englewood Stem with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Jaguars didn't even let the Panthers on the board, marking the Jaguars' second-straight 7-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Juarez never let their opponents score last Thursday. They blew past Englewood Stem 12-0. The Eagles not only won last Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2025 (when they won 18-2).

Juarez's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for King, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3-1.

King got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Juarez by a conclusive 14-4 score. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
