King William dropped their record down to 11-4 on Thursday, which also ended the team's nine-game streak of wins. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (3-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in March.

As for Deep Run, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games.

For Deep Run's part, not much got past Parker Noonan, who gave up just four hits to keep King William off the board. Noonan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Henry Jennings, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Aiden Bradshaw also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

King William wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 1-0 win against King & Queen Central on the 17th. As for Deep Run, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Godwin on the 16th.
