Baseball Game Preview: Bloomsburg Panthers vs. Muncy Indians

The Bloomsburg Panthers will take on the Muncy Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bloomsburg is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

It was a proper cat-fight when Bloomsburg challenged Southern Columbia Area on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Tigers, falling 17-1.

Bloomsburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Scherer, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Andrew Petock also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Muncy had taken Millville down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Indians lost 19-4 to the Quakers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered against the Quakers since April 23, 2019.
