Kendrick lost to Jordan back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cherokees narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Red Jackets 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cherokees have posted against the Red Jackets since September 18, 2019.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Kendrick who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 18-25, 15-12.

Kendrick has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Jordan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coincidentally, Kendrick and Jordan will both be playing Hardaway the next time they take the court. The Cherokees will head out to face the Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Red Jackets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
