Celina narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Marion Local 8-6. The victory was some much needed relief for Celina as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.
Van Wert made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-9. As for Celina, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-12.
