Baseball Recap: Wilton Takes a Loss

Wilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Weston Trojans. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 21-14 to the Trojans when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Wilton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Weston, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Wilton will welcome Norwalk at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Weston, they will venture away from home to challenge Foran at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
