Volleyball Recap: Del Norte Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Albuquerque, Del Norte was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Highland Hornets as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win didn't come easy: Highland scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-23.

Jenavieve Wells paced Del Norte's offense, picking up 11 kills. Wells got some help from Ava La Doux and her 21 assists. Wells also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Francesca Jaramillo, racking up four apiece.
