Basketball Recap: Mcdonogh Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Robert Moore and Jeff Exinor

McDonogh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pallotti Panthers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 67-63.

Despite the loss, McDonogh had strong showings from Jeff Exinor, who went 8-for-16 en route to 21 points, and Robert Moore, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points. The dominant performance gave Exinor a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Carlos Ferguson, who posted six points.

McDonogh's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Pallotti, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-15.

Looking ahead, McDonogh will venture away from home to challenge Glenelg Country at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pallotti, they will welcome Sandy Spring Friends at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
