Volleyball Recap: Union City's Undefeated Season over After Five Games

Union City was the 3-0 winner over Carlisle County when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Tornadoes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Comets on Saturday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Golden Tornadoes were not able to get on the board.

Having lost for the first time this season, Union City fell to 4-1. As for Carlisle County, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union City will welcome Bradford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carlisle County, they will square off against Marshall County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
