Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sequoia). They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Jefferson Grizzlies 41-6. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Ravens considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Sequoia got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hannah Orton out in front who threw for 203 yards and four TDs while completing 73.3% of her passes. Jamie Elkington also helped with three scores in total.

Sequoia's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sequoia is set to square off against their familiar foe Hillsdale at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jefferson will challenge rival El Camino at 6:00 p.m. on October 8.
