Baseball Game Preview: Madison Mohawks vs. Monroe Hornets

The Madison Mohawks are taking a road trip to challenge the Monroe Hornets at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison will be strutting in after a victory while Monroe will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Madison was able to grind out a solid win over Chaminade Julienne Catholic, taking the game 5-2.

Meanwhile, Monroe came up short against Beavercreek on Monday and fell 6-1.

Madison has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Monroe, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
