Gunnison Valley's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over San Juan.

Crew SPENCER and Chase Maples scored both of Gunnison Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Grand County was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell just short of American Heritage by a score of 2-1. The loss was Grand County's first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Grand County fell to 5-1. As for Gunnison Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
