Softball Recap: Palmyra-Eagle Comes Up Short

Palmyra-Eagle lost against Johnson Creek on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Panthers took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bluejays. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Presley Koss made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Briahna Covarrubias, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Palmyra-Eagle's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Johnson Creek, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palmyra-Eagle will take on Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnson Creek, they will face off against Williams Bay at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
