Calhan is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Saturday. They were outmatched by Sierra Grande and fell 61-34.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Florence didn't have enough. They were dealt a 77-34 loss at the hands of Pueblo Centennial on Tuesday. The loss was the Huskies' first of the season.

Calhan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Florence, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
