Flag Football Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Elizabeth can now relate to. They were beaten by The Classical Academy Titans 34-0 on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Titans: they've now lost four in a row.

Lacy Antinora threw for 155 yards on 18 of 36 attempts. Olivia King was her top target, picking up 49 receiving yards.

A big part of The Classical Academy's victory came down to the chemistry between Kelsey Peterson and her top target Reagan Harter. Peterson threw for 200 yards and three TDs while Harter picked up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown. Peterson is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Elizabeth's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for The Classical Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Elizabeth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for The Classical Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 27-24 win against Green Mountain on the 22nd.
