Softball Recap: Trinity Comes Up Short

Trinity blew Muhlenberg County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Muhlenberg County got their revenge. The Raiders fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Raiders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The defeat snapped Trinity's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-4 record. As for Muhlenberg County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity will challenge Edmonson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Muhlenberg County, they will face off against Breckinridge County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
