Volleyball Recap: Tempe Gets the Win

After losing to Desert Sunrise the last time they met, Tempe decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Buffaloes came out on top against the Golden Hawks by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Buffaloes.

Tempe was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 17-25, 25-14, 25-19.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-13. As for Desert Sunrise, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tempe will challenge rival Prescott at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Desert Sunrise is set to face off against their familiar foe Lee Williams at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
