Recap: Central Private Redhawks vs. Kentwood Kangaroos
The Central Private Redhawks lost against the Kentwood Kangaroos back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central Private was beaten by Kentwood 42-12. Central Private was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.
Leading Kentwood to victory were Eric Earl jr and Ja?marion Burton. Earl jr threw for 165 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes, while Burton rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Another reason for the win was Kentwood's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Lamikal Callahan.
Central Private's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kentwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Central Private does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kentwood also has no future games currently scheduled.
