Volleyball Recap: Archie Williams Takes a Loss

After flying high against Novato on Tuesday, Archie Williams came back down to earth. The Peregrine Falcons lost 3-0 to the Redwood Giants on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Giants this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-0 defeat on April 3rd.

Zachary Wulff paced Archie Williams' offense, picking up seven kills. Wulff got some help from Max Brasler and his ten assists. Wulff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Archie Williams has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 13 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season. As for Redwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 22-6.

Archie Williams does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Redwood, they will welcome Tamalpais at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
