Andrew Jones put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. He struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Jones' strong effort led Addison over Arkport Central and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
