Recap: Beth Tfiloh Warriors vs. Yavneh Academy Bulldogs
The Beth Tfiloh Warriors lost to the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs on Thursday, but the Beth Tfiloh Warriors didn't allow the Yavneh Academy Bulldogs the same satisfaction on Saturday. Beth Tfiloh took down Yavneh Academy 53-38.
Despite the loss, Yavneh Academy still got an impressive performance from Sam Rael, who scored 14 points. Rael is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last six games he's played. Darren Sacher was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Beth Tfiloh's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Yavneh Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beth Tfiloh will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on North East at 5:45 p.m. on December 13th. As for Yavneh Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Poetry Community Christian at 8:00 p.m. Poetry Community Christian is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
