Basketball Game Preview: Johnsonburg Rams vs. Moniteau Warriors

The Johnsonburg Rams will venture away from home to challenge the Moniteau Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Moniteau took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Johnsonburg, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Johnsonburg turned things around against Union on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 58-36 margin over the Knights/Damsels. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Moniteau ended up a good deal behind Union on Friday and lost 48-30. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Johnsonburg's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Moniteau, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.

Johnsonburg didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Moniteau in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 49-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Johnsonburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
