Basketball Recap: Bearden Takes a Loss

Bearden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Junction City Dragons. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dragons from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Bearden's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Junction City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 17-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bearden will host Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Junction City, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ouachita at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
