Astronaut is 2-8 against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy since March of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The War Eagles will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Astronaut will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
On Monday, Astronaut made easy work of Mainland and carried off a 19-6 win. That looming 19-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the War Eagles yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Nathan Edwards, who went 4-for-5 with six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gavin Lynch, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Astronaut kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.
Meanwhile, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Viera on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They lost 7-1 to the Hawks. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Hawks: they've now lost four in a row.
Greyson Hammond was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is 4-2 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-7 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Nunes, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.
Astronaut's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
Astronaut might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the War Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
