Softball Recap: Marsh Valley Takes a Loss

Marsh Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 20-3 to the American Falls Beavers. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 26, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Olivia Campbell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Madison Foster, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Marsh Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9-1. As for American Falls, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Marsh Valley will head out to take on Bear Lake at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 13.2 runs per game this season. As for American Falls, they will head out on the road to challenge West Side at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
