For the first time in his career, Jacob Laney scored a receiving touchdown on Friday. He picked up 34 receiving yards and one score, but sadly Jeff Davis still had to take a 35-21 loss at the hands of Fitzgerald. Laney's big game is all the more special as we consider it to be the best performance he's ever had.

Laney and Jeff Davis will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bleckley County at 7:30 p.m. on the 14th.
